What changed for 2026?

Changes to the schedule in the last two years.

6-in-1 vaccine

Since 14 April 2025, a 6-in-1 vaccine that also covers hepatitis B replaces the 5-in-1 (at 2, 4, 6 and 18 months). The separate hepatitis B doses at 1 and 6 months were dropped; the dose at birth stays.

Extra MMR dose

An extra dose of the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine is given at 9 months. The doses at 12 months and 4 years stay the same.

Second chickenpox dose

From 1 September 2026, a second chickenpox dose is given at 4 years (48 months). For older children, ask your family doctor about a second dose.

Good to know

  • Babies whose mother carries hepatitis B (HBsAg positive) follow a different schedule: hepatitis B immunoglobulin together with the vaccine at birth, and a separate hepatitis B dose at 1 month.
  • If a dose is late, contact your family doctor (aile hekimi); they will plan how to catch up.
  • Vaccines in the national schedule are free at family health centres (aile sağlığı merkezi).
  • This page is for information only and is not medical advice. The schedule can change: see the Ministry of Health vaccine portal (in Turkish) for the official schedule, and follow your family doctor's advice.

Let Agu keep track

For babies in Türkiye, Agu builds this schedule from the date of birth, marks each dose as “done”, “due soon” or “overdue”, and reminds you before vaccine day. No account, no ads, no internet.
